Christian's message: Ever since I joined PCRA two years ago, this rowing club has become a foundational pillar of my life. This sport has become a passion of mine which has led me to form lasting friendships with my teammates and coaches, taught me how to persevere through all sorts of circumstances with developed discipline and mental fortitude, and a desire to continue rowing in college. I believe everyone receives an experience at PCRA unlike any other rowing club due to the highly positive and energetic culture of our team. However, low tide provides us a minimal amount of water to row on, and now most of our dock sits on the bottom of the harbor during low tide. In a few years the entire dock will be on the bottom of the harbor and the future rowers of PCRA will not be able to launch their boats because of this tidal regression. I hope for everyone who comes through this special rowing club in the future to obtain a similar experience to what I have had, so I am asking for donations that will be able to provide the future rowers of Pelham not just dock access to water on low tide, but the full experience of a compassionate and fulfilling high school rowing team. Thank you.
Matthew's message: Even though I have only been a rower at PCRA for a few months, I’ve learned that rowing is a sport where I can make close friendships, have lots of fun, work hard and be disciplined. Unfortunately, the dock where we launch our boats needs serious repairs and maintenance so that we can continue to row on the water. Please help support PCRA's mission!
