Dear Friends and Family,

It's that time of year again-our annual appeal for donations to support the Pelham Community Rowing Association, a not-for-profit club that welcomes everyone who can swim and has a love for rowing.

This year, we're facing a special challenge. While our fundraisers typically help cover capital expenses like new boats and oars, we now need to address a more urgent issue: the dock and ramp, which are deteriorating rapidly and at times unusable. To rebuild these critical pieces of our infrastructure, we need to raise $150,000.

But as always, the heart of our fundraising effort remains our scholarship fund. This fund provides much-needed financial assistance to members in both our junior's and master's programs, ensuring they can continue to participate in the sport we all love. Rowing teaches teamwork, resilience, and leadership-skills that benefit our junior's as they move toward college and our master's as they stay strong and connected.

Our goal this year is to raise $80,000, and I deeply appreciate the contributions that help keep our rowing community thriving. Together, we can maintain our facilities and provide opportunities for all our members to grow, learn and succeed.

Thank you for your ongoing support of this great organization.

Warm regards,

Sincerely,

Gerry Houlihan

Chairman of the PCRA Boathouse
