Coaching for Pelham Community Rowing Assoc. has been an enormous joy and opportunity for me.
I am grateful for the roll I play within PCRA, and for the roll PCRA plays in my life.
Not only has it has provided me with a community of amazing people with whom I share a sport I LOVE, I know the people and care of PCRA will continue to enrich my existence for years to come. Being here with you all is a gift! And my experience is not unique!
Beyond the time on the water learning and teaching all of the finer points of rowing, there is a far reaching magic about it. PCRA is an asset to this community and you can help it thrive!
Youth to Masters, this program is worth investing in. Support PCRA so it continues to support us.
Thank you for any and all donations!!
So much love!
AJ
PS - I'm trying to beat all of the other coaches... so... pick me pick ME!!!
Thank you for your support in helping us meet our ambitious annual fundraising goal of $75,000.00 by March 5th. PCRA’s fees cover operating expenses, but our equipment is purchased exclusively through fundraising.
This year we aim to purchase much needed new rowing shells for our club as well as sorely needed spare parts to maintain our existing fleet.
A new racing shell costs between $20,000 and $40,000 depending on the size and manufacturer, and is hand crafted with carbon fiber.
Pelham Community Rowing Association is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit and as such your donation is fully tax deductible. We will be happy to furnish receipts for donations.
We expect the average distance erged by our athlete’s team of 3 to be 18,000m during their allotted 90 minutes. Our athletes vary greatly in age, size and experience (12 to 70 years old!) and results will likely range between 18,000m and 24,000m.
